Q4 2020 Performance of Top Unicorn Games on Android in Europe

As the year 2020 came to a close, we observed intriguing trends among the top unicorn-themed games on Android in Europe. Our data at Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how these games performed in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Kpopsies - Hatch Baby Unicorns from TutoTOONS saw a significant spike in downloads in the fourth quarter, reaching a peak of nearly 500K in early November before gradually declining to around 189K by the end of December. The game also experienced a surge in weekly active users, hitting close to 1M in November and maintaining a strong user base of over 600K by the year's end.

Another TutoTOONS title, My Baby Unicorn - Pony Care, showed steadier download numbers, hovering around 70K at the start of October and rising to over 84K by December. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight increase to over 240K in the last week of December.

SOCEM's Unicorn Dash: Fun Runner 2 observed a different trend with downloads peaking at around 80K in mid-November but then tapering off to 35K towards the end of December. Active users saw a high point of approximately 82K in the same mid-November week, yet ended the quarter with around 47K active users.

Budge Studios' My Little Pony: Harmony Quest had a consistent growth in downloads throughout the quarter, starting at about 14K and reaching nearly 26K by December's end. The game's weekly active users also saw a steady increase, ending the year with over 36K active users.

Lastly, Unicorn Run: Horse Dash Games, another SOCEM creation, showed an impressive leap in downloads early in the quarter, jumping from a few thousand to over 58K in early November. However, this was followed by a sharp decline, settling at just over 2K by the close of December. The weekly active users mirrored this trajectory, peaking at around 49K and then falling to under 9K.
